I'm in the wrong business

So I just ordered my ticket to the upcoming Ween concert. A $25 face value ticket just cost me over $40 due to processing fees and what not.

I should have just waited and used Craigslist two days before the show to get a ticket.

The Commercials got me, again.

The familiar radio commercial voice just told me that the Jack Pot in the Mega Millions Multi-State Lottery is up to $171 MILLION.

Hopefully my last $5 went to the winning combination and this last minute meeting with the Boss Man tomorrow afternoon is just a formality.

Now That's Thinking Ahead

So I was going to accompany some friends to the White Sox game tonight(someone got 4 free tickets from work or something... a free MLB game is a good game), but when logistics were hard to figure out and potential heavy rain threatens to cancel the game anyway I decided to decline the invite, work an extra hour or so and head home.

Yesterday, when the NASCAR Race got postponed until this afternoon I set the DVR to record the race so I can watch it tonight.

And the Bears play the Colts in a pre-season re-match of the Super Bowl.

Feeling old and washed up

I listen to the CNN podcast on the drive into work. I get the latest news bits while the commercials are being played on my favorite morning show. The last bit today was about some teenagers in the southwest somewhere that had let 3 numbered goats loose in some school buildings. They stayed and watched as the cops caught the 3 goats with painted numbers 1, 2 and 4 on them and continued to search for a goat numbered '3'.

Then of course, there's this one too.

I've pulled some good pranks in the past, but never have thought of anything like either of these.

Yep, I'll pretty much buy anything.





It is looking like I may be going to Lollapalooza since no one wants to buy my tickets.
