You Ruined My Life

exerpt from a recent conversation with Concert Dad:

CD: So what are you up to this weeek?
CJ: Well, I saw a friends band play last night, and am going to see The Rock Star's band tonight. I have 2 Birthday parties to attend this weekend, and am capping it all off with a Bears game on Sunday.
CD: You still go to a lot of concert's, why didn't you ever join or start a band?
CJ: Um, yeah.. remember that part where you would never let me get the musical instrument I wanted...
CD: Oh, so it's MY fault you aren't a Rock Star too?
CJ: Pretty much.
CD: Well, that kinda sucks. Hey why don't you come out on Saturday and help me insulate this house I'm working on.
CJ: Sure, not too early though.
